Our Cows.
Our outstanding herd is the product of over three decades of breeding using the best genetics available. We have concentrated on producing genuine low birth weight and high growth rate progeny to ensure ease of calving and to prevent calf fatalities. Our cows and heifers are good mothers, with good milking ability. Quiet temperament is our priority with the majority of our cattle following voice commands, particularly in the yards. Our cows are big framed and our EBV’s include a well-above average 600 day weight.
In Autumn 2022 we decided to increase our genetic base by artificially inseminating 100 cows using six different sires.
