Who We Are

We are a family owned and operated Angus Stud established in 1986 on the outskirts of Tamworth. As local high school science teachers, Sue and I started with 10 cows on our original 100 acres at “Woonooka”, Moore Creek and since then have exponentially grown our herd, as well as our acreage. We moved our stud to “Springhill” on the Nundle Road, Neminga in 2000 and since then have worked to ensure our farming set up is conducive to breeding animals with minimal stress, including paddock to yard laneways and 2m high fencing to minimise the likelihood of cattle injuries.

The devastation of recent drought spurred us to do more for our landscape to improve pasture quantity and quality, as well as water retention in our soil. We are passionate about implementing regenerative agriculture practices to ensure our land, stud, flora, fauna and future generations are sustained and nurtured.
